Our newest client is seeking some feedback on the initial designs we’ve pulled together for her new logo. Here’s your chance to weigh in. Which one(s) do you like best? Why? What do each of them “say” to you?

Not a fan of #1 or #3. I like #2 because of the transformation of the “M” into a mountain shape. It makes sense, because the first thing I thought of with McKinley was “Mount McKinley” It also works well in both the positive and negative images.

#4 is ok, but I think the design of the “M” gets lost in the circle.

Great work overall as usual, guys!

I like 2nd row, right side. Grabs my focus. Impressions of Strength, Authority, Wisdom. Would like the word ‘communications’ to be slightly bigger or brighter as I can’t see it without searching – could be an aspect of my laptop or eyesight.

I like the mountain. It is a symbol of strength, integrity, and fundamental values. Not however sold on the color scheme.

Good luck!

None. Two of the symbols (1st and 3rd) look like quilting designs. What do those have to do with communications? The other two are only “M” representations – why not the K for Kinley or ‘C’ for communications? I do like the typeface in the second sample, but think “communications” gets lost.

I think my favorite is the bottom right one. I like the black b/c it’s more sophisticated. My 2nd choice would be the 2nd from the top right one, b/c the symbol looks like a mountain and it reminds me of Mt. McKinley, so it would be easier to remember the company name.
Hope this helps!

Excellent feedback on all counts. Thanks so much for weighing in. We’ll be sure to let you know which one the client chooses. I can tell you that her initial instincts seem to be in line with the majority.

Thanks again!
