A subsidiary of BMW Financial Services asked us to tag along as they volunteered at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. We are also passionate about being involved in our community, and so it wasn’t long before the camera was put away and we were getting our hands dirty too!

Pawan Murthy is a management member of BMW Group Financial Services as well as a serial entrepreneur. He asked us to come visit him at the office and capture some business portraits he could use for a variety of upcoming interviews and speeches he does throughout the year.

Here’s what Pawan had to say after his shoot…
Mel and Adam are incredibly easy to work with. I’ve been on other photo shoots where the photographer is barking orders at you while framing the picture. Adam (who took my photos) was very easy-going. The best part was that Adam showed me the pictures after every shot right on his camera without me even asking! Sounds trivial, but ask that from other photographers and they’ll “No…You’ll see them when I’m done with them…” As a perfectionist, I find their approach very refreshing. They certainly take the pressure off of something as important as your own portrait.
We visited BMW Financial Services in Hilliard, Ohio where we setup a mini-studio to take photos for their annual Halloween dress-up day. The entire company dressed up, and the various departments have competitions for bragging rights on group and individual costume contests. We offered both a color photo for submission into the contest and a fun black and white ringlight for the subjects via email. As you can see, these aren’t your ordinary corporate pictures.
