The folks out at Cardinal Ortho had us out to their Westerville office again to capture a couple of their new physical therapists on camera.

We were back in the offices of The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute today, but this time we were photographing something extra special. Three of their physicians are retiring or have retired recently, and they wanted to capture some portraits to be printed, framed and hung on the walls of their office along with other physicians who have retired from the group before them. As we did not do the photos for the previous retirees, our challenge was to make our shots look as similar to their classic style as possible. How do you think we did?

Last month we attended a Cbusr meetup as our sister company, GroovyDoodle Photography. Our friend and fellow blogger Cheryl Harrison pulled the event together at Woodland’s Tavern, where GroovyDoodle had also recently shot a few ringlight headshots for the SXSW Bon Voyage party. The Cbusr event was much larger, and resulted in us taking over the main stage where we captured about 150 unique professional headshots, which we then posted for everyone to tag and enjoy via Facebook. (For the record, 150 headshots in a single evening is a LOT!)
So if we attended the event as GroovyDoodle, then why are we talking about it here? Well, for those of you not familiar with it, Cbusr is a free site dedicated to helping Columbus residents meet people who live nearby with similar interests, and their meetups are filled with fantastic networking opportunities for up-and-coming professionals and artists. We met some really great people, and wanted to share them with our business audience in case you’d like to meet them too…
Because of our no-hassle print release for all projects, sometimes we’re surprised to see our pictures in use months after they were delivered to the client. Such was the case with this ad. The photos were originally taken for use in their 2009 annual report. Imagine our pride and surprise when we were out with friends in the fall of 2010 and saw our photos flash across the TV screen of the pub we were in during the following video ad!
As a growing company here in Central Ohio, The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute has us shoot headshots of their staff on-site at one of their eight locations on a pretty regular basis. We understand how busy their executives and physicians are, and scheduling their company’s photography sessions on-site is definitely a plus for them. Here are a few samples from their latest session.

We were back at the offices of one of our favorite clients again today shooting some headshots for some of their physicians and physical therapists. The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute has eight offices throughout Central Ohio, and they’ve been ranked #1 six years running by Business First and earned the top spot in Columbus C.E.O. magazine among central Ohio’s orthopedic practice groups. Oh, and they’re just plain NICE to work with. Needless to say, we’re proud to be their photographer of choice.

We set up our mobile studio for some headshots at The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute again today. Having us onsite allows their busy staff to stop in when it’s convenient for them, and it’s a service that we’re happy to provide. Check out these great photos we took of their physicians and assistants…
